Step One
As soon a the parthenogenic stem cells undergo a few divisions, the Lifeline scientists scoop them out of the culture media before they have a chance to 'spit out' anything. In short, lysing cells means breaking open the cells and separating the soluble components (proteins) from the non-soluble ones (cell membranes, fragments of organoids, chromosomes).

The last step in the process is to stabilize the extract.
